This site is still Beta, but I wanted to share with interested parties my expertise in the field of character and prop rigging for CG Feature Film, Television Broadcast episodic and commercials, and the new field of cell phone and digital media streaming.


CG Character & Prop Setup For over 20 years, I have strived to understand how to bring 3D character alive. Make the character think.

My experience has led me to devellop a sophisticated ever so customizable process for rigging characters to let animators "get the feel" for the character.
On the technical side, my rigging process allows me to share rigging task among various level TDs.
By modularizing rigging tasks as generalized procedure, I am able to have various people with various expertise level simultaneously work on a single character. Making it vary

Production Pipeline & Processing On the technical side, my biggest concern has always been to parallelize tasks as much as possible, keeping everyone moving forward concurrently limiting any delays that might devellop in any one process.
My experience to that effect covers:

modelling for clean deformation,
blendshapes,
corrective shapes,

rigging characters,
rigging props,

layout tools and reference scene assembly,
scene re-assembly with referenced asset "reconection".

animtion point baking,
animation pose tools,
animation clip retargeting tools,

rendering layer standardization,
queue tools for processing (rendering & processing),

wrapper "sourcing" tools to transparently share toolset across artist pools,
standard/logical naming convention and directory hiearchy,
cross software use XSI+Maya+Lightwave+Custom,
asset tracking (via PHP+mySQL on web for UI), (3DApp|custom+mySQL for automated asset management tasks )
